As I am sure most of you already know by now this past 3 year has been filled with many emotions for my family. On June 4, 2009 I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Recently my husband and I have decided to focus on the positives and the future that is in front of us, with that being said we wanted to find a way to make a difference.

We just finished raising $16,000 to walk in the 2010 & 2011 Cleveland 3-Day and the Philadelphia 3-Day. This money will be used for many positive programs in the fight against breast cancer. This year Tara and I will be walking in San Diego on November 16th- 18th.

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day For A Cure event consists of walking 60 Miles and will require us to raise $2,300 each for the foundation. Both of these requirements are very intimidating and almost prevented us from joining the 3 -Day Event; but we both felt the need to make a difference.

It's for a great cause, 100% of the donations that are made on the site are tax deductible and go straight to the cause. Thanks, Ed & Tara
